Today I bicycled with Jim who lives in Hermosa Beach. He is 1 of the 18 cyclists who will be biking cross country. We met at the Marina Del Rey Bridge and bicycled around Palos Verdes. He is a very strong rider. I wish I could have rode with him before today. Biking with him it felt that much quicker than the previous two times that I rode the 30 mile loop.
We bicycled back to Manhatten Beach and above is a picture of Jim and I at the pier. Two weeks from today we will leave from that spot. We then rode back to the bridge at Marina Del Rey. We parted and I continued back home.
And now a word from my sponsor - Extreme Energy six hour shot. I drank half of this at Hermosa Beach as I was feeling a little tired. Almost immediately I felt much better. I am definitely going to be using this during my trip.
