So other than the rain

When I saw Harry and Karen enter Denny's this morning, I knew today would be a good riding day for the group. For the first time during the trip we were not the last group to leave the hotel.

We bicycled through the Finger Lakes region of New York. However as it rained throughout the bike ride today, it was difficult to enjoy the scenery. It did look nice, but at times the rain made it difficult to see and sometimes I thought my contact lens might fall out. The shoulders are wide so it is not that dangerous to ride, but sometimes you do not know what awaits you when you ride over a puddle. The temperature was not so cold so I could ride in my bicycle shorts, but I did use my windbreaker As long we continued to ride we were warm so we kept stopping to a minimum. After the last SAG there was a slight uphill and Alec says "We are biking upstream"
So other than the rain it was not that difficult of a ride.
